standard The Intimacy of Creativity: Introduction

If there were a sonata for Einstein’s theory of relativity, how would it sound like? In The Intimacy of Creativity, you will discover the infinite possibilities.

Organized by the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, the project is in collaboration with Einstein in Hong Kong- an exhibition of the famous physicist’s over 200 pieces of writings and possessions in memory of his visit to Hong Kong 90 years ago. Featuring world-class musicians Bright Sheng, Yehudi Wyner, Richard Stoltzman, Daedalus Quartet and more young emerging composers, The Intimacy of Creativity now calls for music enthusiasts to witness the full process of music creation – from open rehearsals of composers’ first musical drafts to formal concerts of the final compositions, one is invited to indulge in the crossover of arts and science in celebration of Einstein’s scientific contribution. Perhaps even Einstein himself would never want to miss the chance to enjoy music in science while exploring science in music- would you?
